Widemouth Bay near Bude, Cornwall

Widemouth Bay is a sprawling beach to the south of Bude. It’s a paradise for surfers, it has some of the most stunning beaches in the area and is a great accommodation option for anybody who wants to enjoy the beautiful views (it’s on the South West Coast Path). 

You’ll probably have to drive into Bude from here, but you’re also in a good location to explore places further south like Boscastle and Tintagel. It’s mainly holiday rentals here, but there are a few hotels too. If you want to stay somewhere in Cornwall that is absolutely epic and you don’t mind driving a little to reach the town, choose to stay in Widemouth Bay.
