The rugged coast of North Devon has so many beautiful places to explore. From the Somerset border, enjoy the rocky cliffs and moorland of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Then there are the charming twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, which you can enjoy before venturing westwards to Ilfracombe and maybe taking a boat over to Lundy Island. Exmoor is one of the best places to visit in all of Devon – it’s got a wonderful combination of moorland and coastal walks. It straddles the Devon/ Somerset border and is part of the South West Coast Path – make sure you don’t miss it while you’re in Devon!

Lundy Island is a really special place. Sitting about 2 hours from Ilfracombe, this island has jaw-dropping scenery, diverse wildlife, and a really interesting history. You can visit Lundy Island for a day trip, or you can stay for a short holiday.

Clovelly is one of the most popular places to visit in Devon. It’s a preserved 17th-century fishing village, with the same architecture from this time. As well as admiring the buildings and the harbour, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the villages intreguing history in its museums and cultural experiences.
