What to do at Fishcombe Cove
Fishcombe Cove is known for its calm waters and chilled-out atmosphere – it’s only small, but it’s a perfect spot for a quiet swim or paddleboarding.
The cove is sheltered by high cliffs and trees, making the water usually very still – ideal for wild swimming. Keep an eye out for seals, which are sometimes spotted here!
Just above the cove, Battery Gardens is worth exploring. This historic site is home to old wartime gun emplacements, with stunning views across Tor Bay.
The South West Coast Path runs along the top of the cove, linking Brixham with Churston Cove and Elberry Cove in one direction and the harbour in the other.
The Berry Head National Nature Reserve is just a short walk away, offering breathtaking views across the bay.
There’s also a sauna on some Saturdays every month. Click here for more information.
