New Exmouth coffee shop is perfect for seaside brunch
A new cafe has opened in Exmouth, promising “Dam Good Coffee and Bagels”.
The Coastal Beaver, an expansion of the popular Exeter cafe The Common Beaver, has set up shop at 6 Tower Street, which was previously occupied by Parallel 50.
The cafe’s a 10 minute walk from the beach and right in the heart of the town centre.
What’s on offer?
The Coastal Beaver specialises in one food item: bagels. Perfect for lunch!
All are freshly made to order and most sauces and fillings are made in-house.
You’ll find seven types on the menu, with fillings ranging from “New Yorker: pastrami, pickled cucumber, emmental, thousand island sauce and mustard” to “Vegan brunch: homemade marinated tofu, tomato chutney and broadbean guac”.
There’s a halloumi, mushroom and aioli vegetarian option as well.
Drinks-wise, expect delicious barista-made coffees with alternative milk options.
The cafe
6 Tower Road is a small establishment, but there are a couple of tables to dine in if the weather’s not so kind.
Or, if it’s a sunny day, grab and go – The Coastal Beaver is just a few minutes walk from Manor Gardens and not far at all from the beach!
