The perfect fusion between luxury, practicality and affordability, Jurys Inn Exeter Hotel provides comfortable yet stylish rooms, a vast breakfast spread and incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

I was invited to spend a weekend at the 4-star hotel by Visit Exeter, and here’s my full write up of the accommodation!

This was part of a press trip, but all opinions remain my own. This article may contain affiliate links.

Jurys Inn Exeter Rooms

Enter your room using key card access, a quick swipe which will enter you into the room. Pop your keycard into the power display, and your room will immediately be illuminated!

Let’s talk about the beds. With four fluffy pillows and a mattress that feels like a cloud, you’ll be carried away into the land of nod as soon as you lay down on it.

And with well-insulated rooms and curtains that block out the light completely, you’re almost certain of a dreamy night’s sleep.

Of course, when you open the blinds in the morning, the room will be flooded with natural light.

Stay entertained on flat-screen TVs, prepare your clothes on the ironing board, tuck yourself in luxury bed sheets, style your hair with a hairdryer, keep your valuables safe with a safety deposit box, and enjoy drinks made with a tea maker, electric kettle and stay cool with climate control. Some rooms also have refrigerators!

In each private bathroom, find a shower unit, and complimentary toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and body soap.

Some of the rooms at the hotel are suitable for disabled guests, with wheelchair access and an accessible bathroom.

All of the rooms are non-smoking – in fact, as is usual for hotels in Britain, it’s a smoke-free property.

Breakfast at The Jurys Inn

You can pay an extra fee for a buffet breakfast at The Jurys Inn.

It’s well worth it. As soon as you enter the breakfast room, you’ll see traditional morning food spread out everywhere you look.

Choose all of the fry-up goods at first – there are sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, hash brows, mushrooms and tomatoes – and then head over to the fruit table.

Here, there are fruit and vegetable sticks in jars, yogurt (with vegan options available) and smoothies.

Cereal and break at The Jury's Inn breakfast

Further along, find a gluten-free and vegan station, where you can find dairy-free milk and gluten-free bread and pastries.

Or, on the opposite counter, there are croissants, pain au chocolat and more!

For beverages, pour yourself some juice or make a fresh cup of tea or coffee.

The food is all laid out exceptionally, with an LED sign on the wall and lettering welcoming you to the Jury’s Inn.

Once you’ve taken your pick, sit at one of the many tables that surround the buffet.

Bar and Lunch at The Jurys Inn

If you’re at the Jurys Inn later in the day too, you can enjoy drinks from the bar (including Costa coffee!) and food options.

Select from the extensive food menu or even order light snacks or meals from the food and beverage team during room service hours (from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm every day!).

The drinks on offer include very British Pimm’s, cocktails, mocktails and all the soft drinks you could wish for.

The bar machine is also a coffee shop, with a Costa machine that sells delicious fresh coffee.

There are also accessible toilets in the public area.

WiFi at the Jurys Inn Exeter

Do you need to work while you’re at The Jurys Inn?

That’s no problem here – the high-speed WiFi functions perfectly. I used it to work throughout my stay there and didn’t run into any problems!

Cleaning at the Jurys Inn Exeter

The Jurys Inn Exeter doesn’t offer accommodation cleaning for short stays, as it wastes lots of water and energy.

However, if you’d like your towels refreshed or anything else topping up, you can ask the desk staff at reception!

But before you check in, enhanced cleaning measures are in place to ensure that your room is spotless. It certainly was when I arrived!

Check-out time

Check-out time is 11:00 am. If you want to arrange a late checkout, speak to the receptionist before going!

What’s around the Jurys Inn Exeter?
