If you’re wanting to get out and about in North Devon on Sundays this month, choose the bus!

Selected buses in North Devon are free today (June 2nd) and on June 9th and June 16th.

Details of the Offer

Enjoy FREE travel on all buses into and out of Barnstaple on June 2nd, June 9th and June 16th, as pat of a collaboration between DevonBus Partnership, Stagecoach, and Filers Travel.

All you need to do is board the bus like usual – and there won’t be any need to pay!

Why are they free?

They’re free as part of a movement to promote public transport when travelling for leisure. Funded by the Department for Transport, the aim is to show residents and visitors how bus is a viable way to explore North Devon.

Plus, it’s more sustainable and saves money – a win for everyone!

How to Take Advantage of the Offer

There are a few places that you can visit as part of this offer.

Starting in Barnstaple, you could take a bus to Woolacombe, Ilfracombe or Westward Ho!

Barnstaple has a railway station with links to Exeter St Davids. While these trains aren’t free, they’re also not too expensive (make sure that you have a Railcard if eligible for the best offers – click here to go to the Railcard website).
